About Ewe’s Crazie

Welcome to Ewe’s Crazie, where our passion for heritage breeds meets the art of fine fiber. Nestled on our West Micigan Farmstead, we are dedicated stewards of historic sheep—Shetland, Jacob, and Teeswater—each celebrated for their unique characteristics and exceptional wool quality. We believe in ethical shearing and sustainable artisan practices to bring you fiber that is as rich in history as it is in texture.

Our Heritage Flock

Our flock is the heart of everything we do. We raise Jacob sheep for their variegated mono-fleece, Teeswater for their lustrous, silky locks, and Shetland sheep for their legendary softness and range of natural colors. By raising these diverse breeds, we support biodiversity while providing fiber artists with a palette of textures that only true heritage wool can offer.

Artisan Wool for Fiber Artists

What makes our wool special is the care we put into every step. From ethical shearing to careful hand-skirting, we ensure that every lock and roving maintains its natural integrity. Whether you are spinning, felting, or weaving, our unprocessed and small-batch processed fibers offer the character and quality that mass-produced wool simply cannot match.

The Heritage Roving Collection

Sourced from our diverse heritage flock—including Teeswater, Jacob and Shetland Sheep—our roving is carefully processed right here on our property. This farm-grown fiber is available alongside our raw fleeces, locks, and yarn, curated for spinning, knitting, crocheting, weaving, and felting.
